- Due to past acquisitions in Germany and abroad, there is a historically grown, decentralised IT landscape with many regional peculiarities
- In order to support the company’s growth strategy, a holistic digital and IT strategy, including consistent portfolio management, is required
Activities BLC:
- Recording the status quo incl. pain point analysis and broad stakeholder interviews
- Definition of a clear vision for the digitalisation of the company, including prioritisation of change projects
- Realignment of the IT organisation, its role in the company and forms of collaboration, including suitable change management measures
Key results:
- Company-wide transparency of existing IT resources created for the first time (incl. ‘shadow IT’)
- IT project portfolio prioritised based on strategic corporate goals and long-term commitment of decision-makers established
- Instruments implemented for ongoing portfolio management and to promote cultural change
